Catalyst 2030 is a global movement of social entrepreneurs and social innovators from all sectors who share the common goal of creating innovative, people-centric approaches to attain the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
Society is facing an escalating number of “Monster Problems,” seemingly impossible-to-solve existential issues, such as the climate crisis, the inequitable distribution of wealth, the poisoning of the biosphere, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and ongoing wars. For our civilisation to endure, these problems must be confronted and resolved. Since our global system is their root cause, it follows that a systems-thinking approach is needed to address them. Moreover, we need the thoughtful participation of all humans who comprise the system.
