Network leaders, social innovators and funders are leading the way in promoting transformative systems change, as we strive to accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals. Philanthropists are adopting new ideas by changing the current funding paradigm, these include providing multi-year unrestricted funding, supporting locally-led development, engaging in capacity building, sponsoring transformative actors, and developing and sharing power to provide support that goes beyond a check. Collaborative efforts among funders are underway to adopt a systemic approach to funding.
